Biosafety and Biosecurity in the era of One Health

One Health is an integrated, unifying approach that aims to sustainably balance and optimize the health of people, animals and ecosystems. By linking humans, animals and the environment, One Health can help to address the full spectrum of disease control, from prevention to detection, preparedness, response and management as well as contribution to global health security. The conference serves as a platform to build capacity among biosafety and biosecurity professionals and personnel involved in the areas of biosafety and biosecurity with a focus on One Health, disseminate current developments in the area of biosafety and biosecurity guidelines and regulations and to establish networks among diverse stakeholders with the overarching aim of building stronger biosafety networks.

Objectives:
1. To emphasize the importance of biosafety  and biosecurity in One Health
